Public Peering
With Des Moines Internet Exchange, you can utilize our switching fabric to peer with other DesMoinesIX participants through a single connection. Our route servers make it easy to exchange routing information with a wide variety of DesMoinesIX participants.
Private VLAN
A Private VLAN on DesMoinesIX enables you to exchange traffic with select participants who are also members of your private VLAN. This allows for the partitioning of traffic with separated broadcast domains, and allows the private exchange of data with other participants.
Remote Peering
Our remote peering service allows DesMoinesIX participants to peer on our partner internet exchanges in other regions. For a small fee, DesMoinesIX delivers to the current customer's port a VLAN that enables peering to the remote site.
